The Dynamic Athlete, Training Home of the Toronto Rock Lacrosse Club and the Oakville Hornets High Performance Program, is looking for Qualified Strength and Conditioning Coaches to join our team.
Working with athletes as young as 9 years old all the way up to College and Professional Athletes as well as Adults just trying to improve their life, the Coach's job is to get maximum results in a fun environment. Aiming to be the best part of everyone's day the Coach should be nice, fun, and social and care about everyone that walks through the gym doors.
The Strength and Conditioning Coach's duties will include (but are not limited to) Personal Training, Leading Small Group training of Youth Athletes and Adults, as well as Team Training sessions.
Working as part of a team with other Coaches, the Candidates should have a wide variety of knowledge on Mobility/Stability/Flexibility, Speed and Change of Direction training, Power Development, Strength training, and Energy System Development.
As a facility that caters to mostly Youth Athletes, the Coach must be available to work Evenings and Weekends as required.
Part-time Strength and Conditioning Coach
- Preferably Certified through the NSCA
- Preferably with a degree or currently obtaining a degree in a related field
- Experience working with young athletes
- Great attitude, has fun, always positive
- A nice person, coachable, loves learning and inspiring others
- Knowledge of lacrosse is an asset, but not mandatory
