It’s the last week of the 8 week High Performance Lacrosse Camp with Dan Dawson so we decided to have a little fun.
It was #TankTopTuesday where the boys were to wear a tank top for the workout with the best one winning a brand new Under Armour head.
Like last year’s #SleeveMonsterMonday crew, the boys did not disappoint.
That’s Dan’s headshot plus one of him in firefighting gear on the front, and me riding a jetski on the back. He found the pics online and stapled them to his Tank.
Although we had some fun, we also had a real good workout. Below is Tanner Thomson, a Marquette University commit lifting 305lbs for reps (and a sweet tank on Dawson at the end!).
It’s the final week and some guys have seen some INCREDIBLE RESULTS! Here is Max Yarranton, who put on 15lbs since Day 1 of the camp. I’m still not sure it’s possible but I noticed a lot of extra muscle last night!
We finished the lifting portion off with a Push Up Challenge (Bring Sally Up) to have a bit more fun.
Real simple: when the song says Bring Sally Up you pushup to the top position. When it says Bring Sally Down we hold in the bottom position.
Camp comes to a close on Thursday and just like last year it flew by. It’s my favourite program at the gym and every year just gets better.
These young athletes are going to have amazing summers and made great improvements and we can’t wait to follow along with their progress!
